Case Study #1

Client: Early Stage Medical Device

Project: Provide Project Oversight for the commercialization of the company's first product

Solution: Waypoint engaged with this client upon the completion of the first prototype devices. The project manager provided guidance to the company's CEO through regular planning and review sessions to develop the appropriate infrastructure, technical support and project planning to commercialize this product. This included help with design control, product verification and validation, contract manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.

Outcome: The regular interchange between the project manager and the company team helped to ensure focus on critical valuation points, provided guidance and access for technical solutions and ensured coordinated and timely execution of critical deliverables. This reduced the overall risk for the CEO and optimization of cost. The final outcome was the commercialization of this product and sale to a large strategic partner.
